Gomasio is sesame salt.

A great seasoning for everything from sushi to salads and noodle dishes.

It is super easy to make!



5 tblsp black sesame

2 tsps salt flakes


Roast the black sesame in a dry and hot pan for 2-3 minutes until they begin to crack. Be careful that they do not burn. Remove the sesame from the pan and let them cool while you roast the salt flakes in a pan for about a minute. Put the salt in a mortar and grind it finely. Add black sesame and give the mix a final grind.

Pour the finished gomasio in an airtight glass.
